A superb detached bungalow with large enclosed garden, located in a peaceful village close to the picturesque harbour villages of Port Quin and Port Isaac

This superb property has beautiful fixtures in all rooms, with wonderful outdoor space that’s ideal for relaxing in the sunshine, or for children and dogs to play in. Situated in the quaint Cornish village of Trelights, this property is just a short distance from the coast and surrounding towns and other villages. Port Isaac and Port Quin are just a short drive away, or slightly further you’ll find Tintagel and Padstow. There are some fantastic beaches nearby, particularly Polzeath which is popular with surfers.

Perfectly placed for exploring the area, this detached property is approached via 3 external steps and once inside it is set all on one level. Upon entering you will find yourself in the hallway and will be greeted with the bungalow's homely feel. On your left are the two bedrooms, the first of which has a king-size bed and an en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower and WC, this en-suite loops back into the hallway. The second bedroom has twin zip-and-link beds, which can be made into a king-size on request, plus an en-suite shower room with WC. On the other side of the hallway is the lounge/kitchen/diner, a beautifully decorated room with several windows overlooking the garden that wraps around the property. The kitchen has been beautifully fitted with white units and features an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, there is also a utility area leading from the kitchen which has a wash basin, freezer and washing machine. The lounge/dining area comprises of a dining table to seat 4 people, comfortable sofas, TV/Blu-ray/DVD and a wood burner, with patio doors leading outside.

Outside, the property benefits from having a large enclosed garden that wraps around the whole property, a raised patio area with seating and a BBQ. There is also an outside shower, ideal for washing off the sand after a trip to the beach, or cleaning up your muddy four-legged family member. Ample off-road parking is available for up to 4 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This was our second stay at The Foredeck and once again we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Everything you could possibly need is available. The location is an ideal base for visiting many local attractions in Cornwall and the cottage is delightful to return to after busy days out & about. Home from home! Remote location which might upset some people, but was perfect for us. Longcross Hotel is easy walking distance for a nice meal or a cheeky pint, with lovely views.
