A pleasant bungalow which comfortably sleeps four, this property is the perfect base for those looking to explore the diverse landscapes of the New Forest National Park. Situated in the village of Frogham, the cottage is found in a quintessential New Forest location, where the ponies and donkeys roam freely about the village. You’ll find everything you need in the village for basic amenities without jumping in the car, including a tea room, a village pub and a garden shop. The larger riverside town of Fordingbridge lies just over a mile away, with a larger choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, while Ringwood is also close by. Within a 35 minutes’ drive are the cities of Bournemouth, Salisbury and Southampton, each with something different to offer. Guests will be sure to make the most of the New Forest on their doorstep, with its choice of unspoilt woodland walks, bike rides and other outdoor activities.

This accommodation is arranged all on one level, and upon entry you will be immediately greeted by entrance hall, leading to the spacious lounge/diner. A large and open space, the lounge has everything you need to relax, including comfortable furniture showing traditional comfort mixed with modern living. a TV/DVD to watch and a hi-fi to listen to. The dining area is found separately, with a dining table large enough for meals for all occasions and leads through to the sun room. Here there are even more sofas to relax on, while you can enjoy the views looking out to the garden – the sun room also has doors leading outside. The kitchen contains everything that guests may need to fully enjoy their stay, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The property has two double bedrooms, each carefully decorated, one double has an en-suite shower room whilst the other room has plenty of room to relax. Curl up with a good book on the sofa or enjoy watching the garden birds feed from the patio doors leading into the garden from the bedroom, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Adjacent to this room is a further good size bathroom with an electric shower over bath, basin and WC.

The pretty garden features a patio area complete with seating, perfect for enjoying the warm summer evenings. This then overlooks the rest of the garden, laid to lawn with additional seating and a netted water feature as the centrepiece. There is a pedestrian gate to the right of the property which leads to the owners' residence however please be assured that the property and gardens offer complete privacy. Ample parking is available within the property grounds.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We were seeking peace and tranquillity. This was achieved with this property. Excellent location for walking, cycling and relaxing. Property very well maintained and had everything you needed. Loads to do and visit within a short distance in this lovely part of the UK. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely position, cosy and very clean. Everything needed for a good stay was provided. Owners very friendly but always respected our privacy. Perfect for dog owners as access to large area of Hyde Common with gorse and heather and many footpaths is only 100 yds from the cottage. Free roaming donkeys and ponies are lovely for children and adults to mRead moreeet. Good local pub a short walk away. Mature attractive private garden. The cottage at Frogham cross is a dog walkers paradise with walks straight from the front garden gate. Our dog Holly loved it. The garden is lovely and is secure for dogs. The cottage is excellent and has everything you need. The owners Val and David are a lovely couple if you need anything they will always try to help.

Lovely bungalow. Attached to owners home but very private. Val & David are on hand if any help is needed. They are lovely hosts. Lovely very well appointed cottage. Great to relax in the secluded garden after a long walk. Very comfortable bed and all equipment provided to make our stay very enjoyable. Dave and Val made us feel very welcome and any niggles were quickly and efficiently attended to. It was a nice surprise to receive a welcoming gift of cake, biscuits and wine. We had a fabulous stay at Frogham Cross and Val and David made us feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious and well equipped, they even thoughtfully provided dog towels and blankets for our little dog. The garden is lovely and we only wish the weather had been good enough to enjoy it more. Cottage was lovely very spacious and cosy equipped to a good standard everything you could want spent a relaxing time in the garden and walking through the forest , lots of different places nearby to visit close to Bournemouth, ChristchurchRingwood and Poole plus all little villages in the forest.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in this delightful cottage which is ideally located for exploring the forest and not far from nice beaches. The owners were very friendly but never intrusive. We found the beds to be very comfortable and enjoyed sitting in the pleasant private garden. We would not hesitate to return there.

This is a lovely, comfortable bungalow with a lovely garden to relax in. The owners, who live on site, couldn't be more helpful. All in all, a very relaxing week - just what we needed.
