On entering "Annie's Cottage" we immediately noticed an unpleasant aroma. Parking is excellent. Free and just a 1 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is well equipped. Some thoughtful touches like flowers and cream tea, very welcome! Upon going upstairs to shower I spent an hour cleaning the ensuite shower plug, there was enough hair and gunkRead more to fill a large mug. The sofa is like sitting on a hard wooden bench and the lounge rug was smelly and filthy! Awful! The location is amazing .. Hide

VERY happy with our stay in Annie's Cottage, the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch, fresh milk was much appreciated so we could have a cuppa as soon as we arrived. The cottage was really clean and Brian was very helpful and informed us of the Hartland Carnival that might make unloading difficult. In the event there were no problems and the Hartland Carnival was fantastic! Plenty of places to go and see and beaches not too far away. There are quite a few stairs in the property as the land rises behind it, not Read morea problem except for the elderly or slightly disabled. A hand rail on the top little stair to the 2nd floor landing would be a useful addition. Hide

Really lovely cottage in a great location equidistant from Bude and Bideford (14 miles). It was spacious but cosy and clean. The kitchen was great for us all. Would definitely recommend staying here to explore both Devon and Cornwall.

Annie's cottage was a delight to stay in. It was spacious and very well equipped with everything you would need. The village itself is lovely and there were good facilities locally including the local pubs, coffee shop, fish & chip shop & local convenient store. The local woods were also good for walking the dogs. Will definitely stay here again.
