This is a lovely place to stay. Very peaceful. The family are very welcoming and the location was ideal for us and our pet dog. Lots of nice country walks and yet close to other amenities when required. We definitely enjoyed our stay

Great place for children with an enclosed wooded area called Pollys Wood by the side of the cottage. Surrounded by fields with sheep on the conected farm. The cottages have a gated entrance leading to a large courtyard where our cottage was situated, with a garden with swings just behind. The Granary was in a great location. Remote enough to enjoy great walks on the local footpaths but near enough to local restaurants and pubs, as well as in really close driving distance to Hexham, Corbridge, Hadrians Wall, and the Coast. Inside the granary was comfortable with enough space for our group including the dog. Outside there was a great Read moreback garden and wonderful enclosed woodland. Great to exercise our dog! We had a lovely break here. The hosts were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location was idyllic. Remote enough to get away from it all but close enough to the attractions and city of Newcastle if that's what you want. It was a great base for walking and we will certainly go again.

The Granary was comfortable, pleasant and well equipped. It was very spacious for two of us. We enjoyed the warmth of the electric burner on cooler evenings. Having a garden and outdoor seating was another plus.

We are a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children and a dog and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming in a beautiful location. There was lots to do for all ages in and around the area. The garden was amazing and fully enclosed. The fields around the property were excellent for dog walking and exploring with children.
