Approached via a farm lane and set in 250-acres on a Cornish farm, this comfortable farmhouse-style conversion which used to be the dairy and hayloft, enjoys an inverted design, with bedrooms on the ground floor and the family areas on the first floor. It’s superbly located to take advantage of the West Country. Guests are welcome to visit the farm by arrangement to watch a variety of activities (enquire for more details). The accommodation is three miles away from the world-famous Eden Project, the Luxulyan Valley and Viaduct, the tall ships and maritime museums of Charlestown, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many great National Trust and English Heritage properties. Within five miles there are a number of golf courses including Lostwithiel and Lanhydrock. The sandy beach at Par, Fowey and Looe are also within a reasonable driving distance. It is also well placed for local shops and amenities too.
Both of the property’s bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The first is a large room with a double bed and an en-suite with shower and WC. The second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom is nearby and comes complete with a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs is an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take advantage of the views over the neighbouring field where cattle graze occasionally. The exposed beams, traditional Cornish granite and comfortable farmhouse style of the conversion creates a perfect holiday retreat. At the top of the steps to the first floor is a stair gate for safety. The comfortable lounge area has an electric wood burner effect fire, and a TV/DVD with Freeview. The dining table seats four guests. The kitchen area is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with ice compartment, and a dishwasher – the washing machine is downstairs in the entrance hall.
The outside offers a pleasant enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ to relax with. There is also a private hot tub.
