Situated in a quiet hamlet called Polmorla, a one mile level walk to Wadebridge. The riverside town offers a good number of restaurants, shops and pubs, as well as a small multi-screen cinema. The Camel Trail passes through the centre of Wadebridge as it runs between Padstow to Bodmin. It is ideal for cycling or walking alongside the spectacular Camel Estuary and through the delightful Cornish countryside. The Cornwall County Show Ground is a short walk away and hosts numerous events throughout the year, from the Royal County Show to horse racing and touring circuses from around the world. The extremely popular destination of Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, is 7 miles from your door, renowned for its selection of Rick Stein’s quality fish restaurants. Across the river by ferry is Rock, which is popular for all water sports, and an amazing golf course. The popular tourist destination of Newquay is a short drive down the Atlantic Highway and offers four different beaches including the world class Fistral. Newquay deservedly takes the crown as the surfing capital of Britain; you can also find a number of family orientated beaches along the coast too.

The lounge/dining room is very welcoming with its wood burner, TV/DVD with Freeview, and comfy seating. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. On the first floor, reached via cottage-style stairs you will find the spacious bedroom with double bed, and a compact twin bedroom.

Outside the accommodation is a pleasant lawn area and patio with garden furniture. The garden is circled by a stream that meanders past the property. Convenient location for Wadebridge and the Camel trail to Padstow or Bodmin. The house is compact but well set out with a spacious main bedroom. A little tired in places, could do with a little revamp here and there but provided a good functional base for our stay.

Very well equipped cottage (wasnt expecting a dishwasher) just outside Wadebridge. Far enough away to be beautifully quiet, close enough to be really handy. Owner very quick with repairs when reported. Even has nice neighbours!
