Located in the small coastal village of Porthtowan, this apartment is a short walk from one of the UK’s top surfing spots. While exploring the rock pools and following the coastal path, look out for the occasional dolphin, seal and basking shark that call these waters home. Inside, this contemporary apartment offers sociable open-plan living. In the modern kitchen area, you will find everything you need to cook up a meal with the local produce available: a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Dine at the round table and chairs before sinking into the comfortable leather sofas to spend the evening watching the TV/DVD. There are two bedrooms in this apartment, one a double bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room, and the other a twin. Both bedrooms are light and bright with a coastal theme, while the bathroom, with WC, is close by for convenience.
Patio doors open from the lounge area onto an enclosed patio area. With a café style table and chairs and a rattan sofa, this is a peaceful suntrap for enjoying al fresco meals and drinks. There is private off-road parking for one car, while visitor parking is also available.

This is our third visit to porthtowan, and our third different apartment. This was definitely the cleanest, the most spacious and the best value for money. The only downside to the cove over the other two was that its that bit further to walk after a few evening drinks, (me being lazy!) and theres no beach view from the garden. I certainly wouldnt Read morehesitate to book again. Hide

Great property with a great central location to travel to the likes of Lands end and Padstow. Property was a home away from home. There was a local shop which sold just about everything you need and the local pub Unicorn on the beach served excellent food. The only downside was that dogs arent allowed on the beach between April to October.

We rented the flat for a week at the end of August and were accompanied by two teenaged granddaughters, both water babies. The location is excellent and several times in the week they were up and bodyboarding before breakfast. Unlike French gites, which are usually full of castoffs, the whole apartment had been furnished to match and the kitchen waRead mores extremely well equipped both in terms of small items and electrical appliances. Two bathrooms and a dishwasher made a huge difference to our stay. Hide

We had a fabulous week in this lovely clean apartment. It is modern and well equipped. Perfect location. Short walk to the Blue Bar which is a great beach bar. Our dog loved the stay too. We tried to extend it we enjoyed it that much but unsurprisingly it was fully booked but we will definitely return. Thanks Dom for your help and advice prior to cRead moreoming. Hide

Wonderfully relaxing break (the lack of phone signal around the area wasnt a problem for us) The apartment is lovely and comfortable and the bottle of fizz very welcome after the journey

The apartment is lovely, well fitted, comfortable, decent internet. The locale has seen better days, but there's a lovely beach and a nearby convenience store, pub, cafe - plus an eco shop that has good sourdough bread.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Cove, great location with an easy walk to the beach. All facilities in the property were fantastic and I dont think I have ever seen such a well stocked kitchen before, we are looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

It was in a superb location everything we wanted for walking our dog with fantastic beach & the Blue bar overlooking the sea

Weve just spent Christmas at The Cove and thoroughly enjoyed it. Porthtowan Beach is huge at low tide and we explored it all! The Blue Bar is a must. The apartment was just perfect: clean, well-equipped, warm, an amazing location and the secure patio and little porch are very handy for cleaning off a sandy, wet, happy dog!
