The Borders region is renowned for its historic houses and abbeys, set in glorious rolling countryside, while the unspoiled beaches and picturesque coastal towns are perfect for picnics and water sports. The cottage is one of four properties built on the site of old colliery yard in Scremerston village.

The fully equipped kitchen has an induction hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher with a separate dining area with seating for four guests. There are comfortable sofas in the lounge area to relax into at the end of the day. There's also an electric flame effect fire, in a feature fireplace, and a TV/DVD. Completing the ground floor layout is a contemporary-style fully tiled, spacious family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower cubicle, toilet and handwash basin. Large fully-glazed patio doors lead out to the private deck with garden furniture. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms in the eaves: one double and one twin, with sloping ceilings / ample head height.
