For those who love the outdoors, there's the Northumberland National Park, Glendale and the Cheviot hills which provide excellent walking, hiking and biking. If the view from the cottage isn't enough, you can take a trip to Lindisfarne across the tidal causeway or take a boat trip and try sea fishing or bird watching.
