Located on the coastal path and a short walk from Ilfracombe’s harbour, this first-floor apartment is an ideal place to stay if you want a scenic seaside break. Ilfracombe’s harbour and town-centre have a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to discover. Sunseekers can visit the nearby Tunnels beach or take a short car journey to the beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe or Saunton Sands. There are many places to visit for those guests who want to explore the area, including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Arlington Court and Watermouth Castle. The wild beauty of Exmoor is also a short car journey away.

The apartment is accessed by a flight of stairs and the entrance hallway leads into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is equipped with a Smart TV, Hi-Fi and an iPod/MP3 portable speaker. At one end of the lounge area, there are French doors leading out onto the balcony. The kitchen area features an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment has two bedrooms, one furnished with a super-king size zip-and-link bed made up as a double featuring sea views. The second bedroom is a twin. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and WC.

The property features a balcony with sea views and outside seating, which is accessible through French doors from the lounge area. It is advisable to take care with small children on the balcony.

Close to Shore is a lovely apartment right by the sea with amazing views. Everything you need is provided for cooking meals and is of top quality. The coastal path is literally on the doorstep. Unfortunately the sun never reaches the balcony and I wouldn't recommend you eat out there due to the gulls and pigeons! A short walk to the harbour. Just returned from Close to Shore and already booked for next year. Fabulous location and everything provided in the apartment. Even on a wet day the views are fabulous, invigorating and uplifting. Owners are very accommodating and respond quickly to any requests. A trip on the Sea Safari Rib boat is a must during your stay. Lovely flat ,well equipped in a brilliant spot with stunning views .The flat is literaly a stones throw from the harbourwhere you will find lots of shops & cafes ,we recommend the smugglers for dinner ,had a lovely meal there .All in all a superb location and fantastic property & oh the view from the balcony !

Close to Shore is a lovely apartment right by the sea front and costal walk. The view from the balcony is just stunning. Its walking distance to the main attractions and restaurants in Ilfracombe. Ideal location. No parking next to the building but owner paid for parking permit, it also covers other places in North Devon so its a bonus.

Comfortable and clean flat with a fantastic view. Near to restaurants and pubs. Lack of parking resolved through the provision of a 7 day parking permit. Will book again.

Just had a lovely week at Close to Shore, the accommodation was very comfortable, clean and with everything we needed. Beautiful views from the apartment and balcony. Very close to the harbour and all it's amenities and short walk into main part of Ilfracombe, so close to pubs, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Just enjoyed a most wonderful week in this appartment, with it's stunning sea views from the balcony. Great location with the coast path walk into the town & shops to the right, or turn left for a 5 min walk down to the harbour & pubs. Recommend a walk up to the little Lighthouse chapel in the harbour for the views & a little history. Lovely apartment, fantastic location. Very convenient for harbour and beach with plenty of places to eat nearby. Shame there is no parking outside the building but car parks are close by and the parking permit was very much appreciated. Owners were very helpful and despite a small hiccup at the start of the week it didn't spoil our holiday at all.

Enjoyed the holiday in the flat, plenty to do and see. The flat is comfortable and well equipped, the car parking is tight, but plenty of parking in town.

Spotlessly clean throughout, everything that was needed for a stay was provided. Location is perfect as step outside the front door and you are on the coastal path. Lovely apartment overlooking the sea. Quite cosy for 3 people. Little space to store items of clothing, bags etc in the main bedroom. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately for us the toilet became blocked during our second week. The owners had trouble finding a plumber to come to fix the problem and we had to stay in for a wRead morehole day waiting for a plumber who didn't turn up. Therefore we lost a whole day of our holiday , plus the inconvenience of not having a toilet to use Hide

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location ,it was lovely to wake up looking at the sea every morning .The cottage is well equiped & even has books & puzzles in case of rainy days ,towels and bedding were also supplied saving the hassel of having to pack any. I will defineatley visit again

We highly recommend this very warm, comfortable flat overlooking the sea. It is well furnished. The stairs were nearly beyond my 81 year old husband but well worth the effort. We appreciated the Parking Permit. We never used the car. We had many walks around Ilfracombe. Thank you for the welcome bottle of Prosseco. We enjoyed it.
