A modern apartment located near the Ilfracombe seafront, benefitting from stunning sea-views and access to the town centre. The property is a great base for a wonderful seaside holiday.

Located on the coastal path and a short walk from Ilfracombe’s harbour, this first-floor apartment is an ideal place to stay if you want a scenic seaside break. Ilfracombe’s harbour and town-centre have a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to discover. Sunseekers can visit the nearby Tunnels beach or take a short car journey to the beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe or Saunton Sands. There are many places to visit for those guests who want to explore the area, including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Arlington Court and Watermouth Castle. The wild beauty of Exmoor is also a short car journey away.

The apartment entrance hallway leads into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is equipped with Smart TV, a DVD player, Hi-Fi and an iPod/MP3 portable speaker. At one end of the lounge area, there are French doors leading out onto the balcony. The kitchen area features an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment has two bedrooms, one furnished with a super-king size zip-and-link bed made up as a double featuring sea views. The second bedroom is a single with a TV. The bathroom is equipped with a shower over bath and WC.

The property features a balcony with sea views and outside seating, which is accessible through French doors from the lounge area. It is advisable to take care with small children on the balcony. Parking is located a few minutes away from the apartment and a rover parking permit is provided for one car between April and October. A free entrance ticket to the Tunnels Beaches is provided (open between Easter and October).

The property is in a beautiful spot. Throughout our stay we could hear the sound of the sea. so very calming and restful. Great sea views. Also well positioned for costal walks. Close to shore is an absolutely gorgeous apartment. The views are out of this world. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is definitely home from home. The apartment was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is a great location and the parking pass that we were provided with was fantastic. I have a sensitivity to certain chemicals in everyday products including room sprays, plug ins, fragranced washing powders and finding suitable holiday accommodation can be extremely difficult. this is our second visit to Close to Shore and it is ideal in every way. We saw this property online and when we arrived it did not disappoint. The apartment was clean and well maintained with everything you could need, it was definitely a home from home. The view from the balcony was lovely. Car parking was a short distance from the apartment, it was about a four minute walk so no major problem. A comfortable well furnished property providing all you need for stay. In an excellent location in Ilfracombe to the harbour, walks, facilities and the car parks overlooking the Bristol Channel. The property and Ilfracombe also provides great access to Exmoor National Park with all that this offers, too many to mention, Lundy Island and Clovelly. GRead moreiving our holiday several themes. A fantastic apartment, right in the middle of ilfracombe but slightly off the main streets so still nice and quiet. Amazing sea views. Lots of lovely touches to make a home away from home.
