Pretty cottage accommodating three guests, enjoying a rural village location right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, just a short distance from the coast.

This property is located in a quiet village on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, making it an excellent choice for those who love spending time in the outdoors. Not only is the area perfect for keen walkers, but there is also a wealth of attractions in the area which offer plenty to visitors, whatever their interests, including the seaside town of Scarborough, Whitby with its atmospheric ruined abbey, Castle Howard house and gardens, and the family-friendly theme park Flamingo World.

The front door of this property opens into a porch which is a handy place for leaving coats and boots before moving through to the main accommodation. In to the kitchen/diner, guests will find a pleasant room which is equipped with everything they need including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washer/dryer and a dining table with window seat . Moving through to the lounge which is an attractive room where guests will love relaxing and spending time together. In the winter months light the warming wood burner to bring a cosy glow to the room whilst enjoying a film on the TV/DVD, or perhaps reading a book, or listening to music on the iPod dock.  Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a restful double room which benefits from having its own TV, whilst the second room is a quiet single room. Also on the first floor, there is a shower room with WC.

Outside, there is a lawned garden to the rear of the property which has a patio seating area next to the house, for which there is a table, chairs, and BBQ provided and parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We have just had a lovely week at Myton Cottage, I will definitely be recommending to my family as I know they would love it! We will be returning as soon as we can. The cottage is lovely and cosy, traditional but modern at the same time. Its in a great location for exploring North Yorkshire. Cleanliness excellent, comfortable and very well set out. Interiors are very well kept with all modern conveniences. Good for couples. The only downside is the WiFi which was poor and was not good enough for any form of work usage. The cottage was in excellent condition throughout. It was very clean with all the equipment you would need for a self catering holiday. It was in a lovely village but was very close to all the popular resorts.

An immaculate property with consideration given to every need. The cake and essential groceries were most welcome on arrival. The cottage is ideally situated for many of the local attractions yet is set in a quiet village.

A cottage of an exceptionally high standard. Owners have obviously thought 'what would I expect if I was saying here for a holiday' e.g. paper bags provided for the taking out of sandwiches. The cottage is in an ideal location for visiting the various spots up and down the east coast as well as some of the interesting inland places such as PickerinRead moreg and Thornton Dale. A lovely, cosy cottage in a great location on the edge of the village and in walking distance of the pub. Very comfortable furniture and bed, a well equipped kitchen, perfect soft, fluffy towels in the bathroom, a delicious cake awaiting us on arrival.... Highly recommended.

Ebberstone is a great location for exploring the whole of North York moors from Helmsley to Scarborough and Whitby. The cottage is extremely well appointed and we'll maintained. The welcome good pack was very useful.

Lovely cottage equipped with everything you need. Even provide a dog bowl and biscuits and the all important tea pot which a lot don't have. Great welcome pack and home made cake. Good location for exploring. Second visit and can highly recommend.

We found the property quite easily,perfect location for touring this part of Yorkshire. A very comfortable cottage, it is spacious but still remains cosy. The location is good, a very peaceful village yet you can reach places in a short amount of time. Every little detail is thought of, the kitchen is very well equipped. Would highly reccommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We couldn't recommend Myton Cottage highly enough and would happily stay there again. From the moment we stepped in we felt completely at home. The cottage was warm, clean and cosy and the welcome pack of goodies was a very nice touch (the cake didn't last long!).
