Situated in a peaceful, central position. This two-bedroom converted barn is one of two located on a working farm in the heart of the countryside.

Well-situated for a Cornish touring holiday, the beaches on the south coast are a short drive away as are the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican, and National Marine Aquarium, and other attractions including the Adrenalin Quarry, The Eden Project and wakeboarding at Siblyback Lake are also within good driving distance. Also great for day trips are Dartmoor and the North Cornwall coast, famed for its rugged coastline, surfing beaches and quaint fishing villages.
A large proportion of this quaint property enjoys an open plan layout. With its exposed wooden ceiling beams it retains much of its rural character. The lounge/kitchen/diner is well-furnished with ample comfortable seating, TV/DVD and focal woodburner to warm the room on a cooler winters evening. A door leads outdoors to the patio area. The kitchen area includes a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, and a fridge/freezer. Along the corridor are the bedrooms, the first of which is a double with en-suite shower and WC, while the other bedroom is a twin. Nearby is a bathroom with WC.

Step outside, where you can relax on the enclosed decked area with seating or on the surrounding lawn with BBQ. There is a shared utility room that contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is ample off-road parking for two cars. There are plenty of leisure facilities on site, where you can enjoy the indoor swimming pool (open 19th March-New Year week inclusive) and play barn, exclusively available for guests of the two holiday properties. The games room contains a climbing wall, play equipment and a pool table. The River Inny cuts across the farm land and if fishing is your thing, you are welcome to get involved, though you will need to bring your own rods.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 some of the shared facilities advertised at this property will be unavailable which is subject to change/extension due to any further lifting of Govt. restrictions. The climbing wall will be closed. The swimming pool will be open, however this is of course subject to government guidance changing.

If its seclusion you want this is the place it has fantastic views and you can sit out and have breakfast on the veranda after you've had a swim in the pool. The lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden project are about an hour away. The cottage is a little difficult to get to, but the given directions were very good but don't use your satnav as it woRead morent work. Word of warning, the lanes from the main road are single track so take it slow as you may meet a car coming the opposite direction. Hide

A well equipped barn (cottage) in a beautiful area with wonderful views. The indoor swimming pool/games room was a great addition and well organised for social distancing with the other holiday cottage. A friendly and helpful host. A great place for families with young children. Our grandson really misses seeing the chickens every morning.

Off the beaten track, the accommodation is perfect for a quiet retreat. Hosts are warm and welcoming and accommodation is exactly what you would want from a barn conversion - exposed beams and wood burning fire gives an authentic feeling. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
