Located in a peaceful and private setting in the charming village of North Queensferry, you can take a train over the stunning Forth Railway Bridge from North Queensferry station, less than half a mile away. It’s in an excellent position to visit Edinburgh (15 miles) and its excellent leisure and shopping facilities, plus nearby attractions including Deep Sea World (0.5 miles), Port Edgar water sports (5.5 miles), Edinburgh Zoo (12 miles) and numerous golf courses. Further afield, places of interest include Linlithgow Palace, Culross village which was used in Outlander TV series, and Dunfermline Abbey – home to the burial site of Robert the Bruce – all within 12 miles. Or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular and unique views over the River Forth and its famous bridges.

There is also an additional dining table in this room, plus a central island for flexible mealtimes, while the patio doors out to the garden are handy for keeping an eye on dogs and children as they play outside. An additional lounge lets kids have their own space and has a TV/DVD player, an iPod dock and a useful sofa bed. The spacious accommodation boasts five bedrooms, all with TV/DVD player: one super king-size with garden access and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower; one king-size with en-suite wet room with a shower; one twin zip and link (which can be made into a super king-size on request); one double; and one super king-size zip and link (which can be made into a twin upon request). Also, within the accommodation is a handy utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a separate wet room with a shower which is on the ground level.

Our second visit to Forth Bridges View did not disappoint. Wonderful house in a fabulous location. The beds are really comfortable and our party of 8 adults and 2 wee ones enjoyed all the House has to offer. Wow!! What a location and what a 'cottage'. It's massive and has everything that you could ever want or require! From walking in the front door on our first day with that stunning view...just wow! A house we were truly sad to leave, we had a fantastic time and would love to go back!

The view is worth the rental fee alone. The house is wonderfully designed and is larger than the photos show. Great entertaining space both in the kitchen and dining room. The garden is great for walking, relaxing, or in our case, kids playing American football. The location is great for the train or access to the motorway. The location is stunning and the whole package exceeds expectation. More could be made of the "snug" in the photos, it was fantastic to be able to send the children there to watch movies etc & save them being bored with the adults. Everything was top quality and a great venue for any special occasion.
