Approached though countryside this delightful riverside cottage has been lovingly restored by the owners to offer fabulous holiday accommodation virtually on the river.

With the river Thurne on one side and open fields with cattle grazing on the other,this property is located on the edge of the river Thurne. Sit and enjoy views up and down the river or watch the passing sail and motor boats. You can take a walk or hire a self-drive day cruiser, fish from the river’s edge or simply watch the wildlife. Close by is Potter Heigham with shops and places to eat.Visit Winterton-on-Sea and walk to see the seals. Attractions include Thrigby Hall, Bewilderwood and Africa Alive. Norwich has shops, museums, a Castle, cathedrals, shopping and many restaurants to visit.

On entering this riverside retreat in the hallway, through to a bright and spacious lounge /diner with comfortable leather sofas and patio doors leading to the veranda, TV/DVD. A well equipped kitchen having  electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A spacious double bedroom on the ground floor. The family bathroom comprising on bath, separate shower, WC and wash hand basin. Stairs lead to the first floor to a double bedroom with riverside views a twin bedroom, both bedrooms have restricted head height

Outside: A veranda with seating and lawn area with garden furniture, BBQ and direct access to the river. Off road parking is available off-road by permit which is provided (200 yards away). A second car parking permit can be provided.

We have had many holidays over the years on the Norfolk Broads but this holiday surpassed all others, the Nutshell was amazing clean comfortable and a welcome pack of goodies to start your holiday off, flowers and even a TV magazine. Sue and Fred have thought of everything and more to make your holiday special, including a home made cake which we dRead moreevoured over the week. Love Nutshell a lovely comfortable, clean, welcoming cottage, Susie and Fred are a lovely friendly couple, who always make you feel welcome. It is perfectly situated for exploring Norfolk and the Broads. Also ideal for getting away from it all to just relax or fish, hire a boat, whatever you like to do.

We had the most wonderful week staying at Nutshell during the Easter holidays. Sue was the most wonderful host, she had made us a delicious cake and helped us retrieve our boat on the day we arrived, nothing was too much trouble.
