Visit nearby Trebarwith Strand, which is pet friendly, has a surf school and lifeguards on hand during the summer season. Take a hike or stroll along the South West Coast Path, with glorious views of the north coast on route. Also close by is the picture postcard fishing village of Boscastle and the medieval village of Tintagel, with its craggy ruins steeped in myths and legends and home to Tintagel Castle, one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain and where you can walk over the stunning new 60 meter bridge set between two cliffs. Head slightly further afield and you will find the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV’s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow and Rock, all are well worth a visit and a haven for foodies. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include stunning Bodmin Moor and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

Step inside this characterful property and you will find the accommodation is conveniently arranged on the one level, with the first room being the cosy and welcoming lounge. This lovely area boasts comfortable sofas sat in front of a warming wood burner and Smart TV, thus providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. The next room is the kitchen/diner and here you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast prior to heading out, the perfectly appointed kitchen is brilliantly equipped and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment and coffee machine.  Completing the offering inside the property is a king-size bedroom which has been lovingly fitted and furnished, and finally a spacious shower room with a large walk-in shower and WC.

Located outside and directly to the front of the property there is a small patio area with a bench, and further to this, guests have access to a large five-acre shared dog-walking paddock with cut paths. There is also an undeniably useful shared utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer, freezer and a dog shower.

Forget me not cottage was lovely & quiet, abundance of hot water, spacious, luscious towels, well equipped & fab welcome pack. Thank you. We just feel the bathroom needs some attention. Overall a lovely place to stay and with The Tintagel Brewery .6 of a mile away we enjoyed their Sunday Roast & Fish & Chip Friday supper.

Very warm welcome by Gareth , the owner. Nice, friendly guy who is around when is needed. Basket on the table with local Cornish products. The property is very cosy and comfortable, well maintained, very clean and a comfy bed! Highly recommended for a nice stay!

Beautiful barn conversation thats very Clean and comfortable accommodation, well set out and all the amenities that you need for a weeks stay. Beautiful location with garden and private field at the back. The basket of treats was a lovely touch.

This was our second stay in a row at forget-me-not cottage. It is well decorated, spacious and comfortable, with all the equipment you should need for your holiday. Really good for dog owners, as there is a good sized field at the rear of the property. Good location for visiting the numerous attractions along that particular coastline.

Lovely cottage with everything provided. Good outdoor space for the dog to enjoy. Good parking. Not far from dog friendly beaches. We would definitely book again.

Great holiday, the cottage was charming and indoors and out very dog friendly. Bed was very comfortable after a long day exploring the area. Gareth the owner was on hand should you need him but not intrusive at all. Situated far enough away from Tintagel to be peaceful and yet close enough for a lovely day out. Beautiful courtyard of cottages with separate laundry room , lovely shared back garden and being dog friendly theres the paddock with mown pathway for you both to enjoy. It is clean, well equipped and welcoming and a lovely touch of a hamper of tea, coffee, sugar,jam,scones and in fridge milk and clotted cream to complete your Cornish Cream Tea! A lovely spot for access to all North Cornwall. Cottage very comfortable and the welcome basket was a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend and especially if you have a dog - extremely welcoming of our four legged friends.

The cottage on the whole was great almost home from home. Everything is done for the comfort of you and pratical enough for a dog. Having the owner on site was useful but at no point intrusive. The area the cottage is situated in is good to explore the coast is very near or further inland.

A perfect country accommodation away from the tourists. A short drive will take you to a few of the shops and pubs. The coast is just a short drive down to Port William.
