Trebarwith Strand’s pet friendly beach is nearby with a long stretch of golden sands backed by flat rocks. The South West Coast Path is accessed from here, offering wonderful walks with glorious views of the north coast. Also close by is the medieval village of Tintagel where you can visit Tintagel Castle, one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain and where you can walk over the stunning new 60 meter bridge set between two cliffs, and the picture postcard fishing village of Boscastle. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include stunning Bodmin Moor and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. In addition, and just slightly further afield, are the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV’s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow and Rock are all well worth a visit and a haven for foodies.
