Located on the fringes of the Peak District in the outskirts of Penistone, the surrounding area is on the doorstep of the beautiful ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ Holmfirth countryside. The Trans Pennine Trail runs nearby and is perfect for cycling, walking and accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, more strenuous walkers can head out onto the open moorland for something more challenging. Nearby attractions and places to visit include Holmfirth, Chatsworth and Harewood House, and the popular villages of Bakewell and Buxton.

Step into the hallway which leads to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining table is ideal for a getting together and enjoying a meal after a day exploring and is located next to the patio doors leading to the outside seating area. The lounge area has sofas waiting to ease your aches and pains after a days walking, a wonderful spot in front of the wood burner, cosy up and watch the TV/DVD. A lovely contemporary cottage in an ideal location to explore the Peaks and surrounds. Accommodation was clean and suited our needs perfectly. As a family of 5 we found it spacious and well equipped. You will need a car to pop to the shops but it's worth it.
