One of two cottages, boasting impressive open-plan living accommodation, this rural holiday property is perfect for getting away from it all. Close to Taunton and the North Somerset Coast.

Located in a tranquil position in the grounds of the owner’s impressive 17th century farmhouse and 300 acre working dairy farm, this property is perfect for guests in search of some peace and quiet. Walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike will be spoilt for choice between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while the local pub is a popular choice for those wishing to stay closer to home. Other nearby attractions include Oake Manor Gold Club, The West Somerset Railway, Taunton Racecourse and an array of National Trust properties and gardens.

On the ground floor, an impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features an exposed brick wall, exposed beams and bi-folding doors opening onto the courtyard. Prepare meals in the contemporary kitchen, which contains an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, before dining at the large table overlooking the courtyard. At the end of a long day, the cosy lounge area features Sky TV, a DVD player and iPod dock. A cupboard in the hallway houses the washing machine and tumble dryer for those wishing to do laundry during their stay. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a TV, patio door to the courtyard and en-suite shower room with WC. On the first floor you will find two further double bedrooms, both with TVs and contemporary en-suite shower or bathrooms. All bedrooms are light and airy and feature zip-and-link beds, which can be made into twins on request. Outside, the private enclosed courtyard with garden furniture offers a sunny spot for a family BBQ or relaxing evening in the hot tub. There is a separate lawn area to the side of the house that offers a perfect play area for children and dogs alike.

Cottage was wonderful, had everything for our mini break. Comfortable, warm and hot tub was amazing. Owner left us some lovely homemade scones and fresh milk from the farm all of which was lovely. Got shown round the working farm which was very interesting.

Excellent facility. Everything you need to have a great holiday. Nice touch with the fresh scones with jam and clotted cream on arrival and a bottle of the farms milk. Fresh ground coffee provided. Hot tub fantastic.

This is a well equipped property, perfect for exploring Somerset. The 3 bedrooms are all en-suite which is great for 3 couples and the zip- link beds make very comfortable super- kings. The property is secluded and very quiet, the hot tub and enclosed garden make it all very relaxing. Its dog friendly with some lovely walks nearby. We had a lovely break at this property. We took our 2 children and 2 dogs. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. We would definately recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet retreat. Hot tub is a fantastic bonus and was well used by the children.

The property is off the beaten track, a beautiful house with all the amenities youd need, a great place for our walking holiday, a stones throw from the quantock hills with amazing walks. Its quiet and peaceful, Frankie was very accommodating with suggestions and help when we needed it. The hot tub was a bonus, my daughter was never out of it. This was our second time at Blagroves which is a lovely cottage on a working dairy farm view are lovely and plenty of walks, although the owners are closeby they are not intrusive, even though you are on a farm there is no noise, the hot tub is definitely an added bonus. Can't wait to return

This cottage ticked all the boxes for our weekend in Somerset. We loved the modern lounge, kitchen and beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms, all set within a character building. We had a fantastic weekend at Blagroves Farm Cottage. It was perfect for our group of 6 (3 couples & 2 dogs). The cottage is large and each bedroom has their own beautiful en-suite bathroom. The sofas are very comfortable & large, the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances (dishwasher,fridge freezer,microwave, lwashing machine and hugRead moree tumble dryer in the cloakroom), plus a big wooden dining table that would comfortably seat 8-10 people if needed. Beautifully appointed cottage. Didn't meet the owners but then we had no problems. Beds very comfy and lovely ensuites. Recommend this property but only if you don't have a problem with flies or spiders although the 'flycatcher' is very effective. A fabulous barn, in a beautiful quiet location, very clean, everything we wanted for our week! Lovely cream tea waiting for us when we arrived too! Being a working farm there are loads of flies and meant we had to keep the doors/windows closed as we had two babies with us, perhaps fly screens at bed room windows would be good idea? The Quality of the fittings and furniture both inside and outside in the beautiful garden were amazing. Cathy is lovely and so helpful. The Welcome pack is high quality to. We have done quite a few holiday cottages in Devon and Somerset and this is by far the best.

We really enjoyed staying at Blagroves. The accommodation is of a very high standard throughout. It would equally suit a family of up to six or three couples as all the bedrooms are large and en-suite. A great place to relax (particularly the large hot tub which was very well used by us) or tour the local area.

What a lovely house in a nice quiet spot with views over the fields .When arrived there were 6 home made scones waiting for us, along with jam & clotted cream, also milk tea & coffee and after a 5 hour drive this was much appreciated . What a fabulous place. I work in a 4 star hotel and everything about Farm View could give it a run for its money. There was everything there that we needed and could have needed. Well stocked kitchen, you could easlier cook a full dinner if you wish. The Sky TV package was a really welcomed treat.
