This enchanting detached cottage is located in the beautiful croft of Stronmilchan, in a tranquil setting with magnificent views over Loch Awe and Kilchurn Castle which is only three miles away.

This delightful cottage nestled in the beautiful croft of Stronmilchan, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Dalmally where visitors can explore numerous historical sites including Kilchurn Castle and Glenorchy Church. Walkers, mountain bikers and Munro baggers can explore Ben Cruachan in the west, Ben Lui in the east and the Glen Kinglass mountains to the north. Close by is Glencoe Ski resort. Boat trips can be taken on Loch Awe, and the Duncan Ban MacIntyre Monument is worth a visit as is the beautiful church of St Conans Kirk. The property is near the towns of Inverary, Fort William and Oban, where you can take a ferry trip to the beautiful Isle of Mull.

On entering this delightful cosy cottage, you will find yourself in the inviting and comfy lounge. Tastefully furnished and with exposed beams and an open fire as well as TV / DVD, this is a perfect space to sit back and relax. Moving into the kitchen/diner, there’s an ideally situated dining area, and the attractive kitchen is equipped with electric oven, gas hob and microwave. In the nearby utility room you will find the fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring further, you will find a double bedroom on the ground floor, as well as a bathroom complete with bath, shower and WC. Going upstairs, you will find two further bedrooms. There’s a double room with additional single bed, and a king-size with en-suite bathroom complete with bath and WC.

Stepping outside, you will find the large enclosed garden with a charming decking area, with seating and BBQ, where you can sit back and admire the stunning view.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a great week at Clyde Cottage, it was warm and comfortable with lots of space inside and out for the children and dogs. I would recommend a visit to Kilchurn Castle and Inveraray castle. There are also some excellent tearooms in the area.

We had a lovely welcome from the cottage owners, the cake and wine were a very unexpected and welcome addition. The cottage was well stocked and very spacious which was great for our family. The location was fantastic and the walk recommended from the owners was perfect.

We had a very good stay at Clyde Cottage. We were greeted with a lovely cake and a bottle of wine, which was a fabulous start for a great week. Very comfortable and homely cottage, where we could relax and feel like home.

The cottage is beautiful reached up a long private driveway, its spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Its a credit to its owner, who welcomes you personally with a lovely smile, a delicious victoria sponge, bottle of Prosecco and tea and coffee. The location is stunning with far reaching views across Loch Awe and Kilchurn castle.

Everything you could wish for down to all the equipment you need to have a carefree holiday. En-suite shower in upstairs bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, both with toilets and showers. All bedding and towels provided with plenty of extras if needed. All kitchen equipment provided with plenty of crockery. We were so lucky with the Cottage. It was a stunning house in a beautiful location. There was everything we could have needed and the homemade cake and bottle of wine was a really nice touch. The lovely deck area with a view is a real bonus as were the visits from the deer and rabbits.

The cottage is in a great location, is warm and comfortable with plenty to do in the local area. Would recommend for anyone who likes to be in a secluded property with good views. Its great for dogs and the owner could not have been be more welcoming.

Fantastic peaceful location. Lovely cottage. Made very welcome by the owner when she met us to give us the key. Cosy and comfortable and well equipped. The dog loved it too.
