The Orangery is a unique and delightful house with a fascinating history. We enjoyed a very comfortable family holiday and appreciated the unexpected sponge cake and beautiful flowers on our arrival. There are many picturesque walks from the house around the garden, parkland, lakes and village green. It is a perfect location. The Pan Global nurseryRead more next door is a gem and the Arlingham Red Lion was our favourite pub for good food and not far away. We all hope to return as soon as possible. Hide

A stunning building and location for a weekend getaway. The faded grandeur added to its charm and the fresh flowers in every room were a beautiful touch. We also appreciated the homemade victoria sponge on arrival. This was such a special place to stay we would like to return soon, we really made ourselves feel at home. The Orangery is very quirky and a lovely place to stay. Inside it has everything you need from lovely white linen bed sheets and towels to everything item you would ever need in the kitchen. It has a couple of small steps downstairs in the hallway. The surrounding area is stunning with lots of National Trust places to see further afield.

This is a really outstanding 'cottage', an 18th century 'garden house' with a more modern extension to turn it into a dwelling. The rooms were amazing, and all the furnishings were top quality (and also a well-equipped kitchen). We all enjoyed the open fire very much. I couldn't recommend this more highly.
