This long distance path winds through the Torridge valley between Braunton and Meeth. Nearby you can visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the historic Cavalier market town of Great Torrington, home to Dartington Crystal. The coastline is only 30 minutes away- choose between the wide sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands, the spectacular cliffs above Bideford Bay and Hartland Quay, the many tiny coves or the cobbled, harbourside village of Clovelly.

Enter the converted 18th century barn into the main living area comfortably furnished with sofa, Freeview TV, DVD player and dining table and chairs. Follow into the kitchen with gas cooker, microwave and washing machine. Head upstairs to the spacious dual aspect double bedroom and en suite shower and WC. There is also plenty of room for a cot if needed.

Outside is small, enclosed garden with flower beds, a gravelled area and comfortable seating perfect for alfresco dining. There is a shared guests picnic area, which is 10 yards from the cottage, with ample seating and clothes line. The property is located on a small farm with abundant wildlife, surrounded by unspoilt rolling countryside.

A lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful and secluded rural area. Just perfect for a relaxing break. Jo and Paul (the owners) were were welcoming, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Plenty of walking and places to visit in the locality. We would be very happy to stay here again.

The cottage was lovely and a welcome food basket was awaiting us on arrival. Jo and Paul were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and have lots of interesting things happening on the farm that you can observe including their bee hives. If you are looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track but in a good location for reaching partRead mores of north Devon then this cottage is ideal. Hide

This is a perfect cottage for a quiet getaway. Its very well equipped and there were some extra special touches that we wern't expecting. Jo and Paul (the owners who live in an adjacent building) couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. With access to the Tarka Trail just 1 mile away it was great place for some gentle cycling up to Bideford anRead mored beyond (although a bit of a climb on the way back from the trail). The wild flowers that lined the lane and the variety of birds were also amazing. Hide
