Best Inglenook open fire I have ever used. Unlimited fire logs. Cosy and comfortable lounge. Deep bath with a shower (Not used by us). Very friendly owner (Nigel) who lives 50 yards away. Double bedroom is also very cosy and welcoming after a lazy day doing nothing.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Meadow Cottage. The cottage was just the right size for 2 adults and 2 small children and although I was worried it would be cold in early January, it turned out to be very warm and cosy. The location is was perfect for us but be advised you will probably need to drive to the nearest shop or pub.

Lovely stay, thank you!

The cottage is advertised as Lechlade, but is half way between Lechlade & Burford and means driving for everything. It wasnt a particular problem to us - but it meant you cant stroll out on an evening to eat. And that would have been pleasant.

Pros: Fantastic place for a family holiday, especially if you or your kids like horses. Great location, peaceful and a close drive to most Cotswold must sees. Lovely Welcoming hosts. Cons: Be mindful if youre over 6ft as the cottage ground floor is a bit low as its a traditional old cottage. Shower is hand held

It's a nice cottage located in a very rural area. There are lots of walking paths to explore. Also the beautiful towns of Burton on the Water and Burford are few minutes drive away.

Wonderful cottage. easy reach into Cotswold. My 3 year old specially liked the horses on site.

The cottage has character but needs a good spruce up. Stairs are steep. The owners were away and phone contact with them didn't feel welcoming. Oh, and enjoy the nightly flyover of many planes from Brize Norton - exciting.
