Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Very quiet location if you dont mind the cows! Quite a narrow access from the main road with a few potholes, but ok after you have learnt where they are. Would definitely choose this property again.

The Old Forge is an amazing little home from home. I spent two very relaxing and comfortable weeks travelling round the area, knowing I had a great base to come home to with stunning views all around. Lowenna was a most gracious host, and the cottage is perfectly placed to explore the whole of the Tamar Valley to your heart's content.

We did not like the loose rugs as there were a potential trip hazard especially for my disabled wife. The toaster still had crumbs in the bottom tray. Several cobwebs were visible. There was no information about aspects of the old forge i,e, use of equipment etc. The only information we found was the password for the BT internet. Mobile phone recepRead moretion also poor. Hide
