This beautiful detached property has been tastefully renovated and retains many traditional features and charm, offering cosy country living with 21st century comfort with surrounding countryside views.

Located in the village of Glendale, one of the most picturesque locations on the North West coast of the magnificent Isle of Skye. The steep cliffs of Glendale are home to thousands of seabirds. Perfectly positioned for walking, sea and loch fishing, cycling, mountain biking and bird watching, with its spectacular scenery and an abundance of wildlife in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are numerous activities and attractions close by including Neist point, Coral beach, Dunvegan Castle, sea life scenic boats trips, Talisker Distillery and The Old Man of Stor. Catch a ferry and visit the stunning Isle of Harris or take a boat trip to St Kilda island from Stein Jetty in Waterish.

On entering this lovely property, you will find the hallway leading to the dining area with stylish table and chairs to sit and enjoy your evening meal, next is the lovely welcoming lounge where you can relax in front of the cosy woodburner (first basket of logs included) after a day of exploring to watch Sky TV or a DVD. Next to the lounge is the spacious fully equipped kitchen/ breakfast room with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and CD player. Enjoy your morning coffee at the table and chairs while taking in views over the area or take it outside via the door leading from the kitchen to the patio area. Heading back through the hallway you will find the stairs leading the three tastefully decorated bedrooms, two doubles and one single. The Shower room with shower and WC is also located on this floor.

Stepping back outside there is an enclosed garden with seating with stunning views over Glendale. There is also ample off-road parking outside the property.

Its a beautiful cottage. Wonderfully equipped and very comfortable in every way. It really felt like home from home. The weather wasnt kind but the scenery is stunning and we enjoyed all our trips out.

This is a very comfortable, clean and pretty house. It has fantastic views and is exceptionally well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome, Emma went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The location is beautiful and very handy for Neist Point Lighthouse. Another fantastic holiday cottage rented in a wonderful peaceful location. Glendale is a perfect base to explore the Isle of Skye but secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. House was superb in size & had everything we could have ever wanted. Tastefully decorated and tidy, more like a permanent home than a rental. A lovely property in a remote location which was perfect for us. The sheep and lambs kept us entertained as did the resident cuckoo. The little shop in the village is an Aladdins cave and all the local people are so friendly. If you are looking for peace, calm and tranquility this is the cottage for you. Beautiful Cottage is a stunning location, nice and remote but also within reach of the many attractions that Skye has to offer. We had a wonderful family holiday. What a location. Glendale is absolutely stunning with brilliant outlooks from the house. Fun to have to drive up the drive past the sheep (of which there are many in the area!). The house is really comfortable for 4 people although a bath rather than shower may be some people's preferences after a long day out. There are very few places to eat out Read moreon the island so book ahead at busy times. The nearby Post Office sells most things and the cafe across the road is good. Portree is poor. Hide

Delightful house with everything we needed and then some. We even had our own sheep for the week! The house is finished and furnished to a high standard and well maintained. There was nothing we needed that we didnt have. Even a hairdryer, much to my relief! Location wise, you can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Set at the top of a field and you can sit on the bench looking over the glen. Also loved having lambs frolicking past the window.

A wonderful cottage with views over the valley. Grazing sheep looking into the living room through the windows. A classic from the outside with all the modern equipment you need inside. Very tasteful and appriopriatly rural furniture.

The house is located in a quiet spot. It's cosy, well appointed and a great base to come home to at the end of a day's exploring. The fire was a focal point to relax in front of after dinner.
