Lovely peaceful house with beautiful views. You feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere but you are on the edge of a large village within walking distance of lots of facilities. Lots of walks near and far, nature reserve just outside the property.

Probably the best property we've stayed at, definitely the cleanest, bedding and towels smelled lovely and fresh. Ideally situated to explore interesting parts of Shropshire and plenty of leaflets and walk information to help you do this. Lots of choice for pubs meals, restaurants and takeaways very nearby. What more could you want.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Great location with spectacular views. Very well equipped. The village of Pontesbury is a great place to explore Shropshire from. 3 good pubs, good Indian takeaway and excellent Chinese restaurant, all but 1 pub within walking distance of the cottage. Quarry Terrace was a perfect little escape. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Excellent quality of fixtures and fittings including log burner. Location is great for local walks, cycle routes and close to lovely quaint towns for days out. The photographs were fantastic and the reality didn't disappoint.
