This pretty property is located on a no through road within a residential estae, giving it an enviable quiet location which is still within walking distance to all that St Ives has to offer. There are sandy beaches within an easy walk as well as plenty of eateries, boutiques, and bars. St Ives really does have something for everyone, including the world-renowned Tate Gallery and the home of sculptor Barbara Hepworth, complete with its own sculpture garden where art-lovers can enjoy the artist’s work in their own surroundings. Further afield, visitors are encouraged to take a trip to the stunning Minack theatre, an open-air, seaside theatre which puts on a full programme of plays during the spring and summer seasons.

Entering this property, you will immediately be made to feel at home in welcoming and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.  Curl up on the comfy sofas and enjoy watching the TV/DVD or perhaps take advantage of the local seafood and cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with its electric oven and gas hob, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The two bedrooms, one a double and the other a twin are decorated in the same understated style as the downstairs accommodation. The upstairs bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, is complemented by an additional WC in the ground floor cloakroom. Please bear in mind that the upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings.

Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture and stand for disposable barbecues. There is also storage for all your beachside accoutrements such as surfboards, kayaks, etc. There is ample off-road parking on a slope behind gates.

Lovely basket of food and drink on arrival. The house was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Short walk into town. Would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It's a bit of a hike into the centre, especially if you've got children and lots of things to take to the beach as we did, so we used the buses from the leisure centre car park just a short walk away. This cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Its very clean & comfortable. There is a very steep driveway, but you can park alongside the double gates. Its a walk into st. Ives, which is ok going, but coming back, is up a steep hill, but, there are plenty of taxis available.

We really enjoyed staying, very comfortable, a lovely place to come home too. The hamper was amazing, have never had anything like it, delicious. We did find walking up the hill at the end of the day hard work, but that was mainly due to our level of fitness!! Thank you for making our holiday wonderful. Miriam, Phil, Joe and Merry Caldwell

Lovely property in a perfect location! Took us about 10-15 min to get to the centre - 5mins into our walk we could admire beautiful view of the St Ives bay - stunning. The house is very clean and well designed and has everything you need. The property is well equipped and comfortable, in a very quiet location despite initial appearances, and was clean and tidy. The welcome pack was perfect. Parking may be problem, the driveway is steep and my VW Golf grounded on the way in and out, but we were able to park outside the property for the rest of the stay. There is a Co-op shop just a fRead moreew minutes walk away for most necessities. If you are interested in art/museums, check out the local Arts Pass which is great value. Hide

Lovely house not far from the centre of St Ives - be ready for the walk uphill on the way back! Well equipped with utensils, crockery, cleaning products and even bath toys for the children.
