A beautiful barn with private hot tub, nestled on the banks of a wildlife pond, making it the perfect base to enjoy both coast and country.

This 18th century cowshed has been lovingly renovated, full of character and original features with stunning views over the pond towards the valleys beyond. Its westward aspect means you never miss a sunset. Set within 11 acres of a small working farm with stream, woodlands, sheep, pigs and chickens, it is an idyllic spot to relax in the Welsh countryside. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

The historic university town of Lampeter is 3 miles away or head 10 miles west to Aberaeron with its picturesque harbour, Georgian architecture, colourful houses, shops and restaurants. This is a perfect place for a couple to explore the very best of the coast and countryside in Ceredigion. Why not see the landscape by steam train, go dolphin spotting, visit the stunning Hafod Estate, or the local Gold Mine, walk the Dylan Thomas trail or find the secluded sandy beaches. There is so much to see and do and after a full day out you can return and relax in your exclusive, wood fired hot tub. The perfect romantic retreat.

As you walk into the property you will enter the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner which has been beautifully decorated. To the left of the entrance door, you will see the dining area reached by one step, this is a great space to enjoy a evening meal and plan the next days events. As you head towards the kitchen area, you will see a cosy lounge area with added woodburner AGA, TV/DVD and Hi-Fi, the perfect spot to relax after your busy day. Positioned behind the lounge area is the kitchen, well equipped to cook up a scrumptious meal. A steep ladder leads to the mezzanine 'crog loft', this added snug area, with comfy futon, provides additional space to relax or read a book. Leading off the kitchen/lounge/diner you will find a shower room, this again is accessed via one step. Just off the kitchen area you will find your double bedroom with lovely finishing touches.

Heading outside walk along the gravel, and you will reach your seating area with BBQ plus your own private wood fired hot tub, the perfect place to relax and star gaze after a busy day exploring the local area.

It was brilliant. Dan was so helpful with his advice and went out of his way to make our trip special. It would be nice to have a bigger more comfy sofa for relaxing on, but that's just a minor thing, and there's probably not enough space for one. Otherwise it was the perfect location, excellent attention to detail (everything provided), and we felRead moret it was the ideal holiday really. Thank you so much!SELECTED!.!ENDOFSELECTED! Hide

Fabulous well equipped cottage, loved the setting with the friendly chickens and pigs. Exactly what we needed. Had a great welcome from Dan & Ellie who answered any questions about the area we had. Home made jam and eggs from the girls who made a visit every afternoon. Wonderful sunsets to watch the wild rabbits and bats. We will return

A beautiful, cosy and comfortable place to stay in a great location with fantastic views. Dan and his family were so welcoming and we wanted for nothing during our stay. We loved watching the animals on the farm and the local wildlife. The hot tub was just the cherry on the cake! Perfect for relaxing under the stars after a day of exploring.
