Just perfect for making the most of Shakespeare’s birth place. Shottery the home of Anne Hathaway offers easy access to some of Warwickshire’s historic towns to include Stratford upon Avon, with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The market town of Warwick with its impressive castle. A little further afield are the more traditional Cotswold villages of Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold. A wealth of National Trust properties to explore, Charlecote Park set within a landscaped deer park and Coughton Court an imposing Tudor house with a collection of catholic treasures. For enthusiastic walkers enjoy the well waymarked paths to include canal walks, circulars and the heart of England Way. This house is exactly as described. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner (Jill) responded immediately to one query which was reassuring. It is what you would expect from a house this age with low doorways and steep stairs. The small conservatory overlooking a pretty, well maintained garden is a bonus.

Winters Tale cottage was in a prime location. You can walk into Stratford & Anne Hathaways cottage was just down the road. Certainly the cottage is not for any one with mobility problems. Stairs were steep & with bathroom downstairs it could be a problem at night !! The garden is pretty & cottage has everything you need.

very well equipped cottage.Clean and tidy with comfortable bedding. Pleasant conservatory overlooking garden. Great for dining and board games. Good location with a very pleasant circular walk starting opposite the cottage car park and finally passing The Bell pub for a pint before ending up back at the cottage.
