Enjoying a secluded setting on a quiet, narrow country lane, this property offers wonderful rural walks from the doorstep with sheep and cattle as your neighbours. Only a mile and a half away lies The World Heritage site of Lyme Regis, with its bustling harbour, historic Cobb and breath-taking Jurassic Coast for bracing beach and cliff-top strolls. In Lyme Regis you will also discover a range of independent shops, stylish cafes, pubs and restaurants, perfect for stocking up on supplies and dining out. Ideally situated for walkers and fossil hunters, with many local attractions to visit including the Marine Theatre, Marine Aquarium, the award winning Lyme Regis Brewery, River Cottage HQ and Canteen. Other attractions include Seaton Tramway, Sidmouth, Chesil Beach and Abbotsbury Swannery, or perhaps book yourself on a local mackerel fishing trip.

Inside, the studio-style accommodation has been beautifully designed with sleek, minimalist decor of wooden flooring, clean white walls and large full-length windows to make the most of those stunning views. In the contemporary kitchen area you will find an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, espresso machine and dishwasher. Enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table nearby before taking to the stylish lounge area beyond. At the end of a long day, cosy up beside the wood burner and make the most of the Smart TV which features complimentary access to Amazon Prime and Netflix. The Scandinavian-inspired sleeping area features a king-size bed and a contemporary shower room next door with a large shower and WC.

Step outside from the lounge area and onto the decked terrace which is a delightful spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or al fresco meal at the table and chairs, while taking in the stunning views beyond. Two steps lead from the decked terrace down to the enclosed gravelled courtyard which is another lovely area to relax in or fire up the BBQ. Furthermore, guests can also use Little Lookout which is accessed via the pretty silver birch glade next to the property and provides guests with private use of a cosy garden room which has been transformed into a secluded, tranquil sun trap area. From here you can enjoy seeing the local wildlife and panoramic views across the valley whilst relaxing on the adjacent decked area which has sun loungers, a table and chairs.

The accommodation was extremely well appointed and clean. It is set in beautiful countryside with correspondingly beautiful views. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. All in all we had a great week and would recommend the accommation to anyone.

Wonderful hidden gem with amazing views over the valley. Ideal base for a walking holiday and easy access to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. You would have to look hard to find anything wrong.Great touch of wine and flowers on arrival., and Kevin, the owner was at the end of the phone if you had any problems. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. There are lots of great walks to do from the cottage and walking down to Lyme Regis was particularly nice. The hill coming back is steep but we managed it every day! We had a great week here.

Because of the very large tree over shadowing the garden it seemed always necessary to use the den which by contrast was intensely hot. Parking could be a problem for some people as its very compact. Nice modern home.

The little Spinney is a lovely, clean and comfortable property.. Had everything we needed and such great views, I imagine gorgeous in the spring and summer when able to sit outside.. Had the dog with us so walked from the property to Lyme Regis via the river, with a small field on the way, such a beautiful walk. A very relaxing stay.

What a beautiful peaceful setting, home from home was perfect for us and enjoyed watching films on Netflix. Little Spinney is a lovely, tranquil holiday let. This was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. We loved watching the dairy herd from the farm across the valley, snaking along the paths to the lush fields in the morning and trailing back in the late afternoon. We highly recommend!

The Spinney is just perfect and cosy. Everting you need. Well equipped for doggies. We had the most amazing weekend, lots of great walks.

Little Spinney is a fantastic little hideaway in the countryside with amazing views. Very clean and felt cosy. Our dog Jet loved it too sniffing and lots of running garden is perfect size and very safe. We did lots of walks into Lyme along the river Lym which was picturesque. Kevin the owner was a text away if needed. We can't wait to return.

Perfect location and the property is absolutely fantastic with everything you need we booked with the veiw to doing a lot of walking which we did it's a perfect location for this also we arrived at Axminster by train and Kevin the owner kindly picked us up at the station Thank you.

Very comfortable little cottage very cosy even with the wet and windy weather. Very well equipped every thing you could need was there, even plenty of supplies for our dog, even an outside hose to clean him down after muddy walks. Fantastic cottage in an excellent location close to Lyme. The views & wood burner were amazing. Extremely clean and smells wonderful, we settled in straight away. The owners respected our privacy but were easily contactable and very helpful. There's a bit of a nack to getting in the parking space but you'll master it in no time. Lovely cabin/studio style accommodation. Great outdoor space, a mezzanine decked terrace with an additional separate sun deck & cabin. Great host who is very accommodating & welcomes four legged friends
