Beautiful cottage, stunning location. Really well equipped kitchen. WiFi is pretty bad & limited phone reception so it just made it tricky to book things in advance. Some beautiful walks from the cottage, and a short drive to lots of day out trips. Our family of 4 with 2 small children had a great holiday!

We had a lovely week. The barn is beautiful, well-equipped and really well-positioned to visit Bristol, Bath and a lot of other places. Saw some interesting wildlife too - deer, hares, stoats, squirrels and lots of birds. Really peaceful place to chill....

Lovely cottage in great location. It looks better no real life than in the photos! We visited Tyntesfield, Weston Super Mare, Bristol and Bath and ate at the nearby Failand Inn (very friendly). Good cycling country too. We did not make much use of the garden of barbecue because of lots of rain.

This was our second visit and the property and location do not disappoint. Spacious and comfortable location with lovely views in peaceful surroundings . Need your binoculars as there is abundant wildlife all around- kestrels were raising young in a large oak tree at the back of the property while we were there and little owls hooted at night . Outdoor furniture very tired and dumped around garden. Garden sad, no flowers. WIFI shocking (1 mbps download after asking for prehistoric router to be updated, we get 630 mbps in rural North Yorkshire) couldn't do any research on where to visit, mobile signal non existent. Had been well renovated but now a bit of an unloved cottage. Somerset not rRead moreeally opened up much in rural areas not much to do. My worst holiday in a long time. We dealt with flying ant infestation in the corridor. Hide

Well equipped cottage in a quiet and peaceful setting. Great location for local walks and short driving distance for coast and historic cities. Would recommend as suitable all-year round holiday accommodation - heating is effective when weather turned chilly, equally open, bright and airy for warmer days.

We had a fabulous time in The Udder Barn. I would have no hesitation in recommending it. It is well equipped and coped well with 8 of us for 2 weeks. It would have been even better if there had been a DVD player to compensate for very patchy wifi / 'phone signal, cleaning improved to remove thick dust / cobwebs in places and there were some impressRead moreive weeds too. Brilliant property. Very spacious, really good kitchen, all bedrooms are a good size and the upstairs suite is much better than the pictures suggest (our 6 year old daughter absolutely loved it!). 10 min drive to Bristol, 20 mins to Weston and the zoo down the road was great. Poor wifi signal and no DVD player, but they were the only issues.
