Lakeside Bistro is a short walk away if you fancy a spot of lunch.
The interior of the property is a gorgeous and welcoming space with much of the downstairs offering open-plan living. With wooden floors, traditional beams and lovely rustic furniture, this property has a really homely feel. The lounge has comfortable seating arranged around a wood burner and then steps take you up to the dining area and kitchen which are wonderfully sociable spaces for gathering, cooking and eating. A vaulted ceiling and large patio doors in the open-plan living space make this wonderfully light and bright and the kitchen itself is brilliantly equipped for meal prep. There's also a handy utility space for doing any holiday laundry. There's even a games/cinema room with projector screen and pool table. For sleeping, there are three beautifully finished and inviting bedrooms - two doubles both with en-suite wet rooms with showers, WCs and balconies and one king-size bedroom (can be converted to a twin on request) with an en-suite wet room and freestanding slipper bath, all of which are chic and stylish.
Outside, guests are welcome to explore the shared grounds and relax in the wildlife area with seating and a wild flower meadow and adjoining paddock and also fish in the large wildlife pond stocked for course fishing. Additional info: It is recommended guests bring their own rods and fishing equipment and guests will require a rod licence (can be purchased from post office or via environmental agency website). There is also a wonderful private hot tub to relax in next to the private patio where guests can enjoy eating outside on the patio table and chairs. The large shared lawn is a great space to run around in and leads to the paddock and wildlife area. For a bit of friendly competition, there is also a private games room with pool table and games. An all weather tennis table is also available at the property.
