Bespoke cedar cabin, with a private decking and sunken hot tub, situated within the grounds of a well regarded gastropub on the outskirts of the seaside town of Westward Ho! in North Devon.

This property is situated just outside the seaside town of Westward Ho! in North Devon. The town’s fantastic two mile wide sandy beach makes it a popular destination for holiday makers, who are well catered for with a good range of shops and cafes. Just a few miles away, the traditional fishing village of Appledore is a lovely place to while away a relaxing afternoon, wandering along the quay and sampling the seafood offered in the local bistros. Other places of interest in the local area include the historic harbour town of Bideford, the heritage fishing village of Clovelly and the scenic walks of the South West Coast Path.

This bespoke cabin is one of three similar properties in the grounds of a popular gastropub. The main living area is a stylish open-plan space comprising of an understated lounge/kitchen/diner with an inviting sofa, Smart TV and a warming wood burner which keeps the cabin lovely and cosy in all weathers. The dining table, which enjoys a lovely position in front of the bi-fold doors comfortably seats four, whilst the kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. There are two bedrooms in the cabin, the first being a stylish double room benefitting from bi-fold doors which open onto the decked terrace. The other is a twin room, which can be made up as a double size on request thanks to the zip-and-link beds. The shower room has a contemporary feel and offers a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a decked terrace to the rear of the property, where guests will find the wonderfully relaxing sunken hot tub, a gas BBQ and garden furniture all overlooking fantastic countryside views.

Ample parking available.

Guests can also make use of the 2* AA Rosette gastro pub’s grounds which provide plenty of space for younger guests to play, and are even home to some friendly farm animals! Of course, guests will not want to miss out on the chance to sample the fabulous food in the pub, although please be aware that advance booking is essential. Guests to the pub will also find a range of pub games, including a traditional skittle alley, and a boules piste.

The cottage is perfect, we stayed here for a small getaway for my sisters 30th. There isn't much to do in the surrounding area for 4 adults but we were already aware of this so came prepared. We found a wonderful Thai restaurant about 30mins away,Siam Bistro which was amazing. Make sure you book, it's quite small and gets very busy Hide

Lovely property. Peaceful. Very clean and nicely presented. Has all the utensils you might need including a hair dryer and coffee maker. Good location. Having the hot tub made it feel very luxurious. We loved our stay only complaint is the bed wasnt too comfortable. But we would definitely stay again.
