One of two delightful properties in the grounds of the owners 17th century manor house and set in several acres of the beautiful Suffolk countryside, within driving distance of Counstable Country, there are miles of footpaths and country lanes to cycle or explore on foot. Visit the pretty towns of Eye and Framlingham with castles, shops and places to eat. Head inland to Bury St Edmunds with its stunning Cathedral and Abbey gardens, or head to Newmarket, home of horse racing. No trip to Suffolk would be complete without visiting the coastal towns of Dunwich, Orford and Walbeswick. Local attractions include, Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens and National Trust properties and Thetford Forest.

Upon arriving at the single storey barn guests will enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This light and airy room feels spacious and is tastefully decorated in calming neutral tones. The lounge area has two comfy sofas on which to relax while watching the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen features an electric Aga style oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and to help with the cleaning up, a dishwasher, also in this room is the dining table. Moving through to the bedroom guests will enjoy a generously sized double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and shower and a separate en-suite WC.

Outside guests have their own private patio and garden area with garden furniture for those warm summer evenings. The shared grounds are beautifully maintained and includes a zip wire. There is a shared games room which offers a table tennis table, darts board, pool table and variety of games for all ages as well as a washer/dryer and freezer. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is very spacious and was very clean. It had everything in it that we needed. The garden and grounds were well looked after and pleasant to walk around. Plenty of birds, squirrels etc to look at. Access and parking was ample. Can't comment on the owners as we didn't see then to talk. However, that suits us fine. If we had a problem, we kRead morenew where they were. Hide

Very well appointed and equipped. Situated on the edge of a quiet village, but with easy access to main roads for venturing farther afield. The property is spacious, and well suited to those with mobility problems. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise.
