Beautifully comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Very good base for exploring north Devon/Cornwall. Set in the small village of Woolsery, which has a shop, a pub and a chippy, this is a quiet place to relax, just a short drive from many places of interest. The cottage was very well equipped, everything you could possible need was provided. The location was ideal, a 20 minute drive to Westward Ho, Bideford and 30 minutes to Bude. There are lots of other lovely villages nearby with great pubs for dining. The fish and chip shop in Woolsery was amazing, as was the food in the Farmers Arms.

We booked this property as all the reviews were good but when we arrived we found the property had not been cleaned properly, we found lots of human hair and dust under the beds there was also lots of cobwebs everywhere which meant there were loads of spiders, the curtains in the twin bedroom were black through damp and we felt the furniture in theRead more living room looked very dirty and we did not feel comfortable sitting on it and we will not be booking this property again. Just returned from 6 night stay at Cory cottage. The cottage is in the peaceful little village of Woolsery but is close enough to the A39 to make travel to other parts of North Devon easy. The cottage itself was warm and welcoming. Everything we needed was there. The only thing not supplied was towels so make sure you pack some. The road behind theRead more cottage is tight but we managed fine. We would most definitely stay again. Only shame is it isnt dog friendly so our pooch had to miss out. Hide
