Stylish one-bedroom getaway, a short drive to sandy beaches at Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Bude, all great for swimming and surfing.

This cottage is located just 5 miles from the pretty fishing harbour at Boscastle and is a short drive from some of the sandy beaches for which Cornwall is famed. Within easy reach of towns such as Port Isaac, the picturesque location for the TV series Doc Martin, and Bude, a popular seaside town with its choice of restaurants, bars and shops, the location is perfect for exploring this stunning part of Cornwall.

Entering this property, you will feel far-removed from the outside world, with its muted tones and chic Scandinavian styling. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner and is just the place to get away from it all and cosy up by the wood burner, whilst watching the surround-sound TV or perhaps a DVD box-set. The kitchen area has everything you will need for your break with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, and is a great place to make use of the local seafood. The property’s bedroom is a chic and stylish double, whilst the bathroom has a shower over bath and WC, and follows the same understated decor as the rest of the house.

Outside there is a shingled seating area, with picnic table and bench, a lovely place to enjoy alfresco meals or a sundowner on a summer evening. Off-road parking is provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage, we really enjoyed our stay, very clean and comfortable although needs additional heating for the front room during the cold weather. Kitchen also well equipped.

Brilliant cottage,we chose it as we wanted to take our dog. There was a public footpath at the side of the cottage, which was ideal for us.The cottage itself,we couldn't fault it,we had a lovely week away, and everywhere we went, was dog friendly, including the pub at the end of the lane, which was very nice!!Highhly recommend.

Unfortunately, not a cottage we'd stay in again as there were some issues with it though we liked the area.

Reviewed by Emily, 26th August 2019

The cottage is compact and clean. Location is a bit more remote than we expected as the pub is only accessible via a winding unlit road.

Cottage was in lovely quiet hamelet, just the right size for 2 people and our dog. Will definitely be returning as the local area was stunning.
