Enjoying an elevated location on the fringes of Church Stretton,this stylishly restored property with it’s original quarry tiled floors, welcoming woodburner and contemporary soft furnishing is just perfect for those looking to explore and enjoy the Shropshire countryside.

Church Stretton forms an excellent base for the country lover and sportsman alike. The Long Mynd rising above the west of the town is renowned for gliding, hand gliding and paragliding, along with the Shropshire Way for the seasoned walkers and the second highest golf course in England. Visit the market town of Bishops Castle famous regular festivals and fairs. Ludlow and Shrewsbury are also thriving nearby market towns; with festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, horticulture, theatre and walking to include the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September and the Shrewsbury Flower Show held every August making them perfect destination’s whatever the time of year.

When entering the property you will find hall way which is perfect to leave your boots after a day of exploring the area. A stunning view of Caer Caradoc from the house, and you can see the cottage from the top of Caer Caradoc (with binoculars!). We arrived in to find a lovely little cottage beautifully decorated and with all necessary equipment. There was wood and firelighters to start the wood burner which was a nice touch. Views are absolutely stunning -nice to sit outside and relax in the sunshine. House is well equipped and has everything you need. Shower is lovely. Church stretton hills are amazing and the town has loads of places to eat and drink. Immaculately decorated & furnished cottage on the edge and overlooking the village. Very comfortable, peaceful and quiet with a fabulous view of Wenlock Edge.
