Detached Edwardian house with lots of character, located in a small village near Fairbourne. Perfect for groups of friends or families, with Snowdonia National Park to explore from your doorstep.

This Edwardian property was lovingly refurbished in 2016, beautifully furnished and full of period features with Victorian tiles and views towards the mountains and glimpses of the sea. Set in a well-stocked, pretty tiered garden.

Located in Friog, a small village near to Fairbourne. Boasting a steam railway which takes you to seaside towns of Harlech, Portmadog Twynn and Aberystwyth to name a few, water taxi to Barmouth, family play area, golf course, pubs, restaurants and shops, with the sandy beach, craggy cliff and sea beyond. Within easy reach you can join a myriad of footpaths or cycle routes along the coast, estuary or countryside in Snowdonia National Park. Find the special Blue Lake in Friog or climb to the top of Cadair Idris. Activities on offer include swimming, sailing, canoeing, horse riding, walking and cycling, and with so many attractions to visit from King Arthurs Labyrinth to the zip wire, there is always something to see and do.

Enter the property into a vibrant hallway, with plenty of space to store your shoes and walking boots. The lounge with wooden flooring and feature rugs and cushions enjoys lovely mountain views. The dining room is warm and cosy  with a TV and stylish décor, perfect for intimate meals with family and friends. There is a separate breakfast room just off the kitchen, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper. Continue through to the colourful kitchen, turn on the radio and rustle up a feast for your guests. Meander upstairs to the bedrooms in the evening, with comfortable bed linen. All four bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with beautiful wooden flooring and feature fireplaces in the twin bedrooms. With two separate bathrooms, you can take a refreshing shower or soak in a hot bubble bath to unwind after a day of exploring the National Park.

Outside, the established tiered gardens are available for you to explore and admire. Relax on the patio area, with garden furniture for alfresco dining. The separate studio acts as the games room, with pool table, games console and a plethora of board games to enjoy. An ideal space for children to play and have fun. Beautiful house with a stunning garden. Check that the boundaries are suitable for your dogs before booking.
