Lovely clean cottage with super comfy beds. Would definitely stay there again (our week there went by too quickly). Visit Rosslyn Chapel and the tea rooms with wonderful coffee and gorgeous cakes. Visit the castle and Glen. Loads of things to do nearby, Edinburgh, Cramond Beach and Portobello. 5 stars for everything.

Property was not very clean. Property is very small inside and the downstairs bedroom is DEFINITELY NOT king size it is double only and the room itself small with little storage space. A nice upstairs bedroom but as it has been made in attic there is not a lot of head space and only a bath in the bathroom. A good location though if you don't know tRead morehe area Edinburgh city centre is 8 miles away. Its nicely done but we felt overpriced for its size particularly with no private garden. Hide

We stayed with our dog in this lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Roslin. The house was cosy, comfortable and beautifully restored and decorated. Collecting and leaving keys was easy from the local inn. Fantastic walks in the area, and convenient shops in the village, as well as places to eat.

Ideal location. Well equipped. Very cosy and stylish. Big garden for the dog, although no gate to the side if yours likes to wander off. Good walks and cycling on the doorstep. Best of all 45 seconds to the Original Rosslyn Inn for good food and drink.

Good location for exploring Roslin and Midlothian. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. It would be good to have a welcome booklet in the house to explain how the heating, tv and other systems worked.
