The location of the house is perfect - right on the harbour and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops etc. The house itself is very clean, comfortable & homely. Lovely house in a great location with a wonderful view. Close to everything you could want, yet quiet. AGA looks a bit intimidating but is actually quite easy to use. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We absolutely loved the location of the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay but were slightly disappointed with some aspects (see above). It is a very old building and understandably quirky but we felt that it was a bit tired in places and could do with being improved, especially bearing in mind the price. We definitely felt we were paying for Read morethe location - which is utterly stunning! Hide

Situation and views amazing, convenient for shops, restaurants, carry-outs, boat trips etc. Parking space great. Very comfortable. Stairs a bit steep but only problem for small child or someone with a disability. Property is on floors.

It's in an ideal situation with a beautiful view of the harbour area. There is parking for up to two cars. The cottage is very comfortable and we loved using the AGA. A great location to have a family holiday and explore the island.

Probably the best spot in Portree. Look out of your window, watch the boats, watch the weather change, try a spot of home baking in the Aga! This house even has a little garden area with table and chairs to sit out in, immediately adjacent to the water. Shops, restaurants and bars all within five minutes walk.

Great location! Very homely and traditionally furnished. Great source of hot water. Enjoyed using Aga although might not be for everyone. Bring your own toys for young kids though as weather is prone to be very changeable!
