Fantastic fishing nearby on the River Usk, with day permits available in Usk. Kayaking and Canoeing readily available on the River Wye. There are castles littered around the Monmouthshire countryside, Raglan Castle is just a few short miles away, or a day trip around the trio of Whitecastle, Grosmont and Skenfrith Castles.

No need to repeat what's been previously been said, suffice to say, we agree with all the good things said by previous reviewers. We still feel completely relaxed after being home for a few days.

Lovely, friendly owner. Private, without being too remote. I return regularly.

Our time in the hut was absolutely perfect and incredibly relaxing. Help is on hand from the owner in the main house but it's sufficiently far to feel nice and remote - can't recommend it enough.

We had a fantastic time at the Cwtch. Was totaly equiped so we did not need most of the things we took. Very Clean and tidy. Excellent location for exploring and relaxing. Will definately be returning.

This property is beautiful! As everyone has said before Rachel has really thought about everything that's needed to make the stay a home away from home. The location is stunning and has a wonderfully peaceful setting for a truly relaxing stay. Our springer loved running around the enclosed grounds from 6.30 to 10pm, we even had his first howl from Read morehim (sorry about that) Will definitely be staying again. Hide

What more can we say to explain our experience in "The Cwtch Hut" than..... WOW! Not only was the hut fully equipped with all of the essentials like a fully stocked kitchen, towels, spacious shower, comfortable bed and a log burner but the outside area was also so welcoming and thoughtful. Featuring two hammocks and a fire pit along with plenty of Read morespace in an enclosed area if anyone decided to bring their dog. Our stay here was warm and welcoming and Haydn & Rachel really made us feel at home. Hide
