Fabulous cottage to feel fully isolated during a worldwide pandemic! Amazing location, with fabulous views and great walking straight from the door. Cottage is lovely and cosy and laid out well. Absolutely perfect, lovely cottage, lovely location. I wouldnt change anything about it. Close to towns if you want to visit them but isolated enough to spend a week on your own if you want to. I will definitely be going back.

A beautifully tranquil cottage at the end of a long track, didn't see anyone while at the cottage and that's exactly what we wanted, amazing walks from the front door, the whole place was well equipped to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Rowan cottage is a well-provisioned cottage for two with spectacular views across the Brecon Beacons. It's nicely secluded - the owner's property is nearby but hidden behind trees. But one privacy gripe is that the bathroom has no door (just a wicker screen), so sounds/smells go throughout the cottage! Leave your car in the parking area and don't tRead morery to drive right to the cottage door - there's a steep gravelled slope down; you may not get back up (we only did after a lot of wheelspinning). Rowan cottage is set in an idyllic location, a short windy path from the main road 10 mins from Crickhowell. It is very private and quiet. The view of the mountains is stunning and we enjoyed leaving the upper part of the front door open to enjoy the scenery. We loved relaxing by the log burner and star gazing. It is worth noting that that bathroomRead more is separated from the bedroom by a wicker divider which doesn't offer much privacy. Otherwise you are sure to enjoy a tranquil break. Hide

Great location. In our opinion does not warrant a five star status due to lack of five star extras that come as standard with other cottage companies, General overall condition jaded.
