This attractive and welcoming single-storey property is situated within the grounds of the owners’ home, where a warm welcome awaits and privacy is assured. On entering, you will find yourself in the bright and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The tastefully furnished lounge is an ideal space for relaxation, with comfy seating, a traditional wood burner, TV and DVD. You will find a charming dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment. The metered washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in a utility room which is shared with the other on-site properties. Beautiful location for a relaxing base to explore Somerset and Devon. Perfect cottage for a holiday with dogs as there is a secure garden. Cottage was very clean and furnished to a good standard.

Great place to see Somerset from. Good little local pub within walking distance and numerous walks out the backdoor. Owners very friendly.Still a bit work in progress for the owners who are building a large pond and still doing up a few things but the cottages themselves are fantastic.

If you want peace and quiet with all the benefits of the countryside while still being within a reasonable distance from the coast, then this is for you. The owners are friendly without being intrusive, and the garden is private and safe for dogs or children. Plus, no restrictions on roaming the farm and talking to the animals. Perfect.

Hillside Barn is the most accessible of the four holiday barns on this property; it is clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Its rural location is quiet but not isolated, and very good for exploring Exmoor, Taunton and the coast. Unfortunately the views from the property are not quite as depicted on the website and the unpleasant smell mentioRead morened by another reviewer is all to obvious. With two small children and a dog, we've stayed in many holiday cottages. This one is by far the best. Fabulously located for exploring Exmoor and Somerset, and wonderful views from your windows! The cottage is beautifully decorated, maintained,well equipt and comfortable. The log fire is perfect after winter days exploring and the fresh eggs and mRead moreilk in the fridge on arrival were a nice touch. We will definitely be returning here. Hide

Very snug, comfortable accommodation. Great for two adults and dogs. Would probably suit two adults and one or two children rather than 4 adults. Excellent country location and very quiet. Perfect place for exploring Exmoor and the Quantocks.

The cottage is situated in a wonderful country position within easy access to shops, beach and countryside. John and Janet were perfect hosts who were only to pleased to help and give advice when needed. Would definitely be booking to stay again as it was perfect for the two of use and our dog "Boris".
