Stylish converted barn situated close to Devon’s border with Cornwall, just a short distance from family-friendly beaches and thriving seaside towns.

This property enjoys a quiet rural location, and is one of two holiday cottages on the owner’s farm. The popular Tamar Lakes are within walking distance of the property, and offer scenic walks, cycling routes, sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking. Slightly further afield, the Cornish resort town of Bude offers sandy beaches, a tidal pool, mini golf, and a range of shops and cafes. For those willing to travel a little further, there are many attractions within an hour’s drive of the property, including Tintagel Castle, the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, and the wild beauty of Bodmin Moor.

This barn conversion property offers an open-plan living area comprising spacious a lounge/kitchen/diner which has been stylishly finished with wooden and slate floors. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas, a TV/DVD, a cosy wood burner, and French windows which open onto the property’s garden. At the other end of the room, the dining area has a wooden table seating four, whilst the kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine and has doors which lead out to the front of the property. Wooden stairs lead to the first-floor accommodation, where there are two bedrooms. The first of these rooms is the master king-size room, which has its own TV and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC. The second room is a delightful twin room, with an en-suite shower and WC. There is also a convenient cloakroom with WC located on the ground floor of the property.

Outside, there is an enclosed shingle garden with seating and a BBQ, and private parking for two cars. The owners are happy for you to use their field to exercise your dog.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

An absolutely stunning barn to stay in. It's like a home from home with added luxury. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make the stay comfortable. They are incredibly friendly and on hand to help with anything. Bluebell Barn is extremely clean, warm and well equipped, with lots of nice touches to make your stay very comfortable. Bluebell Barn, is perfect for a relaxing, stay in the countryside, so very peaceful, no traffic noise, very secluded, but only a 20 minute drive into Bude. The barn is very well equipped with everything we needed, its spotlessly clean, very well finished. Beautiful barn conversion. Peaceful and relaxing. It was so quiet and properly dark at night! Owners very welcoming and cream tea on arrival much appreciated. One of the best holiday lets we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and the beds were fabulously comfortable. A car journey needed to get to nearest beach.

Beautiful barn conversion done really well . Doors open to country side , sheep , no traffic and tranquility . 4 miles from nearest village so you need to be bringing anything in with you for the day as you wont want to drive out again . Bluebell Barn is a wonderful renovation or an old barn and it is spotlessly clean and well appointed. The garden is enclosed making it perfect for our toddler and dog. We wouldnt change anything about the barn. The location is remote and peaceful. There are a few things to do locally, but in reality you do need to jump the in the car for amenities Read moreand attractions. We knew this before booking and it didnt take away from the holiday. Beautiful tastefully renovated barn which was clean and well equipped. On arrival we were greeted by the owner and had a welcome pack of home made scones, jam and cream as well as milk, butter etc. Lovely quiet spot, comfy bed and everything provided that you could possibly want.
