Fabulous cottage that was very cozy well equipped & very handy for the local bus & train services.Ideal for a couple but 2 steep narrow staircases between the bedroom & bathroom so great as long as this is not a issue for you.

A very clean and well maintained old cottage style property in quiet village. There are only 3 rooms, one on top of another, plus bathroom and separate toilet, but all well equipped and of a good size. Disabled and elderly need to know the bedroom is in the attic space and the bathroom/toilet in the basement space with two narrow stairs in between.Read more If you can manage those it's great. Hide

The Wee House is just what it is, but big enough to be a comfortable place for two. Kinghorn is an attractive village on the north bank of the Firth of Forth. The cottage is only a five minute walk from the railway station from which there is a fine view across to Edinburgh. A 40 to 50 minute train ride takes you to Edinburgh Waverley so the cottagRead moree is an excellent base for visiting the city and the Festival. Hide

A warm cosy cottage.

The cottage was lovely, bigger inside than what you think it's going to be. There was everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of hot water the under floor heating is really good down stairs and the coal fire in the sitting room makes it very cosy. The bed was a little hard for my liking. Yvonne the caretaker was very friendly and helpful, the flRead moreowers are alovely touch. It's easy to get to different places and the local loch is beautiful we had a very good holiday. Hide
