This light and airy cottage boasts spacious accommodation and a warming wood burner for romantic evenings in.

Peacefully tucked away into the side of a valley, this property overlooks open countryside and is ideally placed for keen walkers, cyclists and explorers. The picturesque hamlet of Saunders Green is an ideal base from which to discover the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, a beautiful area boasting an array of walking, cycling and riding paths. For the more adventurous, caving, abseiling and canoeing are all available nearby. Also within easy reach is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, which offers a good choice of cafes, restaurants and shops.

With slate flooring, high ceilings and fresh decor, this property offers comfortable accommodation to suit all tastes. In the kitchen you will find everything you should need during your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Enjoy romantic meals for two at the table in the lounge/diner, before settling in for a night in front of the wood burner, TV / DVD and Bluetooth speaker nearby. The double bedroom is clean and fresh with a large sky light letting in plenty of natural light. There is an en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside there is a pretty patio area with garden furniture for enjoying BBQs. This area leads onto an enclosed lawn beyond that’s perfect for dogs.

Bramley Lodge is a nice spacious, cosy, fully equipped cottage in a lovely location. We had a wonderful time staying there so was our 2 little pugs. They loved running around in the enclosed cottage garden. The hosts are very welcoming and live next door should you need anything. Most generous of them to leave us tea, coffee, fresh milk, and biscuiRead morets on arrival. We will be definitely returning to the cottage. Hide

Helpful hosts who gave us a warm and much appreciated welcome. A comfortable lodge, more spacious than many for only two, and well equipped. A lovely setting, within easy access of Tintern Abbey and the Wye valley, and major sites such as Goodrich castle. A very enjoyable week.

The property is lovely. My partner liked the wii it kept him entertained of an evening. Your set within a lovely location with lots of things to do around you. Our dogs really enjoyed the long walks they had daily. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Lovely, clean, well presented cottage. Well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed. Garden was perfect for our 3 dogs, secure and safe so we could let them out without worrying. Perfect location for visiting surrounding areas loads to do for everyone. Will be returning.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. The grounds of the cottage are secure so letting the dog run around without worrying was lovely. Close to lovely pubs and great walks and a large supermarket within 7 miles if you need anything. Owners are lovely and helpful, highly recommended.

Very spacious lounge area with delightful log fire, and well equipped kitchen to cook up a decent meal at the end of a long day walking. Garden was great for our dog, as it gave him enough space on the grass for toileting and was well fenced in - there are open fields at the back of the garden and sheep can be seen quite regularly. We also had the Read morepleasure of seeing wild boar and two boarlets. Hide
