Situated on the edge of one of the UK’s most impressive natural landscapes, this detached property is an ideal choice for walkers looking to explore the nearby Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks, or those guests looking for a spot of trout fishing. Of course there are also endless walks in the Peak National Park, right on the cottage doorstep. A tranquil valley location, the property is a rural idyll looking out over the breathtaking Peaks.

A compact hallway opens out into the spacious kitchen-diner, equipped with all the necessities. Stairs lead up to the lounge area with Smart Tv and its gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. There is also a shower room located on the ground floor with an electric shower and separate cloakroom consisting of a hand basin and toilet, providing ample space for those muddy boots. The two good sized bedrooms each have their own hand basins. One is a spacious king size bedroom and the other consists of two single beds. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath, hand basin and toilet.

Outside there is a garden with patio seating area for guests to relax and unwind amidst the beautiful surrounds after a day spent trout fishing or traversing the steep Peaks of the National Park.

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Clough Brook Cottage. The owners, Suzanne and John were lovely. The cottage was very well equipped, homely, comfortable and clean and in the perfect spot! A lovely cottage with plenty of room for the three of us and our dog Reggie. Loved sitting out in the garden morning and late afternoon watching the sheep and cows. Very relaxing .The owners chickens were also entertaining. They had there own enclosed area so no need to worry about your dog. Plenty of local interesting walks nearby and from the cotRead moretage. Fantastic location. So peaceful nestled in the hillside. Well equipped but could do with updating. Good for a family but not two couples as much. Not exactly an enclosed garden either

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. Lots of places to visit. We went to many, including Jodrell Bank, the Anderton boat lift and the Roaches. Good walk from the cottage down to the pub in Danesbridge.

Great location for exploring some fabulous local walks in a less commercial side of the Peak District. Quiet location. Comfortable and homely property, everything you need with friendly helpful hosts. Two pubs and brewery short drive away (Ship Inn very good). No local shops so take what you need. Just the best long weekend. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cottage is a real home from home. Perfect location, very comfortable and very well equipped. A lovely well equipped cottage which was very nicely furnished. We enjoyed our stay. Only one minor quibble, the shower downstairs was a bit small and not particularly comfortable but this did not detract from our stay. Would definitely go back. The views are amazing.

Special little cottage in a peaceful location. Owners very friendly and generously provide lots of extras. Really appreciated the home baked bread, books, magazines and games. No phone signal but good wifi for wifi calling.

The cottage is immaculate and has interesting art works and plenty of books for a rainy day . Suzanne and John are most welcoming and helpful. The bread, eggs and marmalade a great success ! We had a lovely, relaxing break in this warm, cosy & comfortable cottage, which had everything we needed. The location is secluded & peaceful, with beautiful views across the countryside & many footpaths to explore. Suzanne & John were very welcoming & helpful & we especially enjoyed watching the hens & having fresh eggs for breakfast.
