Positioned on the Western fringe of the Peak National Park, the cottage offers guests an idyllic location for exploring the landscape on foot, or relaxing in the peaceful garden and taking in the rural surrounds.

Situated on the edge of one of the UK’s most impressive natural landscapes, this detached property is an ideal choice for walkers looking to explore the nearby Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks, or those guests looking for a spot of trout fishing. Of course there are also endless walks in the Peak National Park, right on the cottage doorstep. A tranquil valley location, the property is a rural idyll looking out over the breathtaking Peaks.

A compact hallway opens out into the spacious kitchen-diner, equipped with all the necessities. Stairs lead up to the lounge area and its gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. There is also a shower room located on the ground floor with an electric shower and separate cloakroom consisting of a hand basin and toilet, providing ample space for those muddy boots. The two good sized bedrooms each have their own hand basins. One is a spacious double bedroom and the other consists of two single beds and a fold out bed for extra occupancy. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath, hand basin and toilet.

Outside there is a garden with patio seating area for guests to relax and unwind amidst the beautiful surrounds after a day spent trout fishing or traversing the steep Peaks of the National Park.

This is a charming property for those seeking a rural haven in an outstandingly scenic part of the world.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage set in a beautiful location with stunning views. There were great walks straight from the cottage across the fields to the Wincle Brewery and The Ship. This is a lovely warm cottage in a wonderful location. Homemade bread (still warm) and fresh eggs laid by the 'Beverley Sisters' were a marvellous surprise when we arrived. A very comfortable cottage in the middle of stunning countryside, the views are amazing. Very conveniently situated and close to most major towns. There are sheep and cows right on the doorstep with a few friendly chickens happy to follow you around, something to bear in mind if you have a dog with you - our young dog couldnt stop staring at them! Lovely little cottage in a beautiful part of the Peak District. The cottage was very well equipped and although in close proximity to the owners property, they were not at all intrusive. We had a lovely week, despite the dreadful weather!

This was a great cottage, well presented and in a superb location, which it made the best of with outside seating. The owners were helpful, friendly but not intrusive, although only next door. Also great for dog owners with plenty of safe space for dogs, especially given that sheep were always close!
