Head to nearby Low Bradfield where you’ll find a thriving village pub, post office, grocery shop and delightful tea rooms.

An entrance hall welcomes you into the building, which has an interesting beamed vaulted ceiling. The cottage was just perfect for two. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the window. Being an EV owner the option to charge was very helpful, was charged at the standard rate, which in my opinion is perfect, I dont expect to charge for free. We enjoyed three 10+ mile walks directly from the cottage, with more options available. I would recommendRead more to friends. I took a Roku stick for TV, internet was able to stream without issues, TV size was a bonus, often cottages have small TVs. Hide

Lovely quaint cottage, lovely views, private driveway, kitchen area very compact but more than adequate. Very comfortable bed and sofa/chair. Owners available for assistance if needed as they live in downstairs property, but are not intrusive at all. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Although the weather was quite cool the cottage was lovey and comfortable and warm. The outlook to the reservoir and surrounding fields and moorlands was a breath of fresh air. Being able to watch the many different birds at the feeders in the garden as well as the ducks who appeared to have right of way through the garden was enchanting.

The perfect comfy retreat. The cottage has a beautiful view of reservoir & lovely Yorkshire walls, sheep & moors but feels completely private. Loved the birds on a feeder outside the window -pheasants that paraded themselves on the wall- also a daily visiting woodpecker. The cosy fire is a lovely treat but the heating is also so warm. Lovely quiet picturesque location, comfy bed, good size TV which is a bonus. Accomodation snug but has what you need for a shorter break (no washing machine). Outside space is generous but walled so once seated you cant then take advantage of the views. Sofas are uncomfortable which was a shame and WiFi only works in the lounge and no phone signal.Read more No welcome pack so take your own tea and milk so you can make a brew on arrival as local shops a drive away and limited opening hours.
