We had a lovely holiday at Orrs Barn. The location is stunning with lots of fantastic walks from the door and amazing views. It was a perfect base for exploring the Peak District too and cosy to come back to after a long walk or day out. The Barn was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing to note is that the garden isn't secuRead morere, but that didn't stop our dog having a good time - he enjoyed it as much as we did. Would definitely stay again. Hide

We loved our stay and were very sad to leave; lovely peaceful location and well situated for visiting the area. However, prospective hirers who are dog owners must be aware that the garden is not fully enclosed and is not capable of being made so temporarily. This is very relevant bearing in mind the very limited opportunity for off lead walking inRead more this area. We did enquire of the letting agents before booking and were incorrectly advised that the garden was secure. Hide

My wife and I and our dog stayed at "Orr's Barn" at the end of November, 2023 when the weather was absolutely freezing! The property was very warm and exceptionally clean and contained all of the things you may need for a good holiday. It enjoys a wonderful private location with beautiful views of the Derbyshire hills yet does not in the least feelRead more isolated. Bakewell is less than 10 mins.' drive. All of the attractions of The Peak District are easily reached. We cannot wait to return next year!! Hide
