Located in the popular town of Bakewell, just a short stroll from its many shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous 19th-century Bakewell Pudding bakery. With the River Wye running through the market town, there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy in the area. The Peak District has so much to offer for young and old to enjoy. Chatsworth House and Gardens are known as the jewel in the crown for the area and don’t forget to stop at the famous Chatsworth Farm Shop for supplies. There is also Haddon Hall a short drive away, which oozes history. The Tissington Trail, Monsal Trail, and High Peak trail are fantastic terrain for bikes, being disused railways.

Head through to the kitchen which offers everything you need if you decide to stay home and cook a hearty meal such as an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The nearby dining table is perfect for lazy breakfasts while planning the day's activities ahead. Upstairs the double bedroom is full of surprises such as a high ceiling, exposed stone wall and original beams with pretty views over Bakewell and beyond. The single room is known as the duckling's room, great for little ones to get a good nights rest, there is also a Playstation for youngsters to enjoy too. Bring your bubble bath and enjoy a soak in the bathtub, or make use of the shower over bath, the choice is yours.
There is a very small outside area to the rear of the cottage, providing a safe and secure space to store bicycles.
